5 suspects who beat 3 doctors in Şanlıurfa were detained

In Şanlıurfa, 5 suspects who beat 3 doctors on the grounds that their patients were not given priority were detained.

The incident took place last night at Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research Hospital. Allegedly, Bünyamin Günak, who fell ill at home, was brought to the emergency room by his relatives. The patient’s relatives, who wanted their patients to be given priority despite the busy emergency department, beat the doctors Ganime Seda Uğur, Mehmet Ali Ak and Yılmaz Safi with whom they had an argument.

THEY WERE GIVEN A WHITE CODE AND WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

Following the incident, a “White Code” was given for security in the hospital and police teams intervened. 5 suspects were detained. The doctors who were hit were also treated in the same hospital. The detained suspects Ahmet G., Harin G., Samet G., Ramazan G. and Özhan B. were sent to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station.

Şanlıurfa Governor Hasan Şıldak condemned the incident on social media and said, “I regretfully condemn the attack on our doctors at Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research Hospital and wish them a speedy recovery. The suspects were caught and the necessary judicial process was initiated. “I am following the incident closely,” he said. (DHA)
