In Kurchatov, Kursk region, a non-residential building caught fire as a result of an attack by a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Governor of the region Roman Starovoit said on his Telegram channel.
“As a result of an attack by a Ukrainian drone, a fire was recorded in a non-residential building in the city of Kurchatov. It was cleared out by firefighters. There were no casualties, law enforcement agencies are working on the spot, ”he wrote.
On the afternoon of September 3, two Ukrainian drones were neutralized by EW forces in the border areas of the Kursk region – they were planted with anti-drone guns. The UAVs were found near the village of Kozino, Rylsky district, and not far from the village of Gornal, Sudzhansky district. Three arrivals of shells were also recorded in the village of Tetkino, Glushkovsky district, there were no casualties or damage. On September 2, a woman was injured as a result of the shelling of the village of Uspenovka in the Korenevsky district. Starovoit reported that windows were broken in one of the households during the attack.
Other regions bordering Ukraine also fall under shelling – on the afternoon of September 3, in the Belgorod region, an air defense system shot down a drone on approach to Belgorod, the head of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said. In the regions, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat operates indefinitely.
