Throughout the duration of the stage, he had to find cars and homes for their trio but also participate in the various challenges. A tailor-made role for the one who had only grumbled and complained all the time he had spent with his buddy Vanessa in the game last year. And the duo of strangers was not disappointed with the trip: Étienne made… Étienne to the delight of viewers who fell under the spell of his humor and his unique personality.

He got discouraged on many occasions and came out, as usual, with little well-felt sentences. Arriving last in the various challenges, the trio logically ended the adventure in a final duel against Jason. Still playing his role as a handicap, Étienne had to start this last-ditch race in place of Nathalie and Angie. Against all expectations, and despite a big moment of hesitation during the event, he emerged victorious from this ultimate challenge, provoking incredible joy on the part of the unknowns.

A very average agreement

During these two days of competition, Étienne, Angie and Nathalie displayed an infectious good mood and everyone seemed to be very close. Nathalie even heckled the doctor by throwing him a glass of cold water… While the latter was taking a shower! However, behind appearances, the reality seems quite different.

In short, I will not make girlfriends and friends even less. They don’t have any more. With Nathalie, we exchanged numbers but we never called back. I didn’t get along with her like I did with Vanessa…”.

Moments of tension

During the tests, the two women were a bit directive with Etienne because they couldn’t do anything themselves. I rediscovered the stress of the competition for half a day where things went badly with Nathalie and Angie because they put a little too much pressure on me. There were some tensions”.

In addition to Nathalie and Angie, Étienne was able to discover, during his stay, the other candidates for season 17. And he had his favorites.
