Albert Bedouet, coach of the French mogul ski team: “Perrine (Laffont) skis like a boss”

“All lights are green”

“We have just come out of the last practice and they are looking forward to tomorrow (Saturday), because this first day of the World Cup is the culmination of their preparation. Our top seeds are in great shape, whether it’s Perrine (Laffont) or Benjamin (Cavet). We are confident, so far it is going well. The team is ready, everyone did what it took to be on top, especially the youngsters, who showed really good things. It’s promising, all the lights are green. »

The Ruka track, a white billiard table

“It’s a magnificent track, very photogenic, super lit. We are close to the Arctic Circle and for me it is one of the most beautiful tracks of the season, along with Deer Valley in the United States. »

Perrine Laffont transfigured

“It’s very impressive. Perrine skis in a relaxed way, because she is better in her head. She is a little less tense than in the past, she really skis as a boss. Her technique, her speed, she has taken another step. Everyone is looking at her. She did extra training with times close to the men. She is very fast and she has a smile. With the other coaches, we are delighted. We can therefore expect exceptional things from her. »

Ben Cavet handles his heels well

“As he has experience, he handles it very well. His training is effective, he managed to set up the ski he wanted. It is a fact that he must take into account because he is sensitive to heels. He knows that if he doesn’t ski the right way or if he insists too much, he may have pain. »
