The acting president, Geraldo Alckmin (PSDB)arrived this Sunday morning (10) in Roca Salesalso Vale do Taquari, one of the cities most affected by floods in Rio Grande do Sul.
Accompanied by a federal delegation of ministers, he visited the Field Hospital which was set up in the municipality in the early hours of this Sunday. Until now, 43 people were killed due to heavy rains and thousands are still homeless.
The hospital, built by the SUS National Force, will operate 24 hours a day with service provided by 20 professionals and equipment provided by Grupo Hospitalar Conceição (GHC).
From Roca Sales, the delegation, made up of ministers and representatives of other institutions, heads to the city of Muçum, where you will walk along the banks of the Taquari River. In the early afternoon, the acting president should meet with the region’s mayors, in Lajeado and, afterwards, there will be a press conference, scheduled for 3 pm.
