Amina Zidani qualified for the round of 16 at the Worlds
For her entry into the running, Amina Zidani (29 years old) beat on points (30-27 and four times 29-28) the Russian Liudmila Vorontsova (24 years old) in the round of 16 of -57 kg (Olympic category) of the Championships of the world, Sunday afternoon in New Delhi (India). In the next round on Tuesday, the young Frenchwoman will face Puerto Rican Ashleyann Lozada.
Winner of her four professional fights (the last in December for a WBC-Francophone super-feather belt), the Parisian licensed in Le Havre was more precise than the 2019 world vice-champion. Boxing a lot with her hands down, Zidani is shown to be as offensive as the Russian.
