Despite the fall of a competitor, an Enduropale motorcycle rider continued on his way by rolling over the man on the ground.
The 47th edition of the Enduropale du Touquet was won on Saturday by Briton Todd Kellett, 25 years old riding a Yamaha. This year, 1,300 pilots, professionals or amateurs set off to take on the famous course in the sands.
Just before the start, an incident disrupted the passage of the impressive convoy, boulevard Pouget. A pilot fell to the ground after a collision with another competitor. While he was still on the ground, another biker who arrived just behind could not change course. After having slowed down in front of the obstacle, he put the gas in rolling on the man curled up and protecting himself.
The scene was recorded by a spectator and then posted on social networks, angering many Internet users. A petition has even been launched to demand a sanction against the pilot who could have seriously injured the injured man, indicates the Voice of the North.
