And if the series Plus belle la vie was not really over?

The series could well know a second wind France 3

This Friday, November 18 marks the end of the program, but the series could well experience a second wind.

More than 3,000 episodes in 18 years. More beautiful life has become a real phenomenon over the years. But all good things must come to an end… or not. Indeed, it may well be that the soap opera created in 2004 has not said its last word. At least that’s what local media said. The Marseillaise .

As soon as the shutdown was announced on May 5, 2022, a group of 300 people who worked for the series decided to create a cooperative production company (SCOP). The objectives are clear and assumed: to revive More beautiful life on the web for “save 1,200 jobs”. “We couldn’t help but respond to the call from the fans. It is time, 18 years later, to renew the genre. We will thus be the first scop in the audiovisual sector, but of course, it is a question of big money in this field. This is why we want to set up a dedicated platform”said the members of the collective.

“Within the limits of our financial means”

In practice, discussions on “Plus belle la vie 2.0” are already underway. Any financial aid from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region could be released. At the same time, the SCOP appealed to the mayor of Marseille, Jean-Marc Coppola, to ask him for financial support. And the town hall seems quite inclined to make an effort. “We fully support this PBLV 2.0 within the limits of the powers devolved to us in terms of audiovisual, that is to say the management of reception. But within the limits of our financial means which are very limited”indicates the mayor of the city indicated Jean-Marc Coppola.
