Andrzej Cezary Precigs was born on August 22, 1949 in Warsaw. In 1972 he graduated from the Acting Department of the State Higher School of Film, Television and Theater named after Leon Schiller in Łódź. At the same time, he began performing at the Teatr im. Ludwik Solski in Tarnów, where he worked until 1974. In the following years, he was ociated with, among others, with the Theatre. Stefan Jaracz in Łódź, the Polish Theater in Warsaw and the Nowy Theater in Warsaw.
He made his debut on the big screen in 1971 in the comedy “150 per hour” by Wanda Jakubowska. After that, he was able to see in the films “Akcja pod Arsenal” by Jan Łomnicki (1977), “Biały mazur” by Wanda Jakubowska (1979), “Polonia Restituta” by Bohdan Poręba (1980), “Teddy bear” by Stanisław Bareja (1980), “On the Niemnem” by Zbigniew Kuźmiński (1986 ), “Three colours. White” by Krzysztof Kieślowski (1994) and “Street Games” by Krzysztof Krauze (1996).
He became known to the wide audience for his roles in the series “Doll”, “Far from the highway”, “Polish roads”, “07 report”, “Dom”, “Life like poker”, “Klan”, “M jak miłość”, “Pensjonat pod Różą”, “Father Mateusz”, “Time of Honor”, “For Good and for Bad”, “Belle Epoque” and “War Girls”.
He also directed dubbing in productions such as “Dennis the Menace” (1987), “Ah, that Andy!” (2001), “Noddy” (2001), “Winx Club” (2004), “The Little Stars” (2001) and “Franklin and the Treasure of the Lake” (2006).
