Application of bivalent vaccine against Covid-19 continues this Monday in Porto Alegre


The application of the bivalent vaccine for people aged 60 or over will continue this Monday (13) in the Capital, according to information from the city hall. Vaccination also follows for immunocompromised people aged 12 years or older. There are 27 locations applying the immunizer. The opening of age groups is being staggered to avoid crowding at vaccination points.

Babies from six months to under 3 years old can also be immunized. The application takes place at the Álvaro Difini Family Clinic and IAPI health units, Morro Santana, Navegantes, Primeiro de Maio, Ramos, São Carlos, Santa Marta and Tristeza. The vaccination scheme for this group is in three doses: the second 28 days (four weeks) after the first and the third eight weeks after the second.

For children and adults, vaccination will be held in different places. The first dose for children aged 3 and 4 years will be applied at the Álvaro Difini Family Clinic and IAPI health units, Morro Santana, Navegantes, Primeiro de Maio, Ramos, São Carlos, Santa Marta and Tristeza. In the same places, the second dose will also be applied. Children between 3 and 4 years old vaccinated with Coronavac – who received the second dose at least four months ago – can have access to the third dose in the same places.

In the case of children from 5 years old, vaccination can be carried out in nine health units, with service until 9 pm: Álvaro Difini, IAPI, Morro Santana, Navegantes, Primeiro de Maio, Ramos, Santa Marta, São Carlos and Tristeza . There will be application of first and second doses in all locations.

Immunization for the population from 12 years will take place in 37 locations: Shopping João Pessoa (until 5 pm) and in 36 health units – nine with service until 9 pm (Álvaro Difini, Belém Novo, Campo da Tuca, IAPI, Morro Santana, Navegantes, Ramos, São Carlos and Tristeza). There will be application of first, second, third and fourth doses in all locations.

The fourth dose is available for people aged 18 years and older who were vaccinated with the third dose more than four months ago. In this public, Pfizer, Janssen or Astrazeneca may be used, regardless of the manufacturer previously applied.

Fourth dose: people aged 18 and over who have been vaccinated for at least four months

* Immunocompromised patients from 12 years of age should receive an additional dose two months after the primary regimen.

Bivalent

Audience: elderly aged 60 years or older and immunocompromised individuals aged 12 years or older, both with complete primary vaccination schedule

From 2 pm to 9 pm: Navegantes health units, Campo da Tuca, IAPI, Álvaro Difini Family Clinic, José Mauro Ceratti Lopes Family Clinic, Belém Novo, Tristeza, São Carlos, Santa Marta, Modelo (from 4 pm), Ramos, Morro Santana and Chácara da Fumaça. Another 12 stations will serve until 5 pm: Camaquã, Nonoai, Glória, Ipanema, Restinga, Lomba do Pinheiro, Ilha dos Marinheiros, Mato Sampaio, Jardim Itu, and Vila Ipiranga, in addition to Moab Caldas and is Brasil (until 7 pm) and Shopping João Person (until 4pm).
