The opening of two new exhibitions, starting with a chat with Eleone and Mariana Prestes about the Milan Design Week, moved the Gravura Art Gallery last week. The Constructo exhibition, by Lygia Vasconcellos and the Atlântida Arte exhibition, exhibited during the summer on the North Coast, gathered many well-known names and admirers, mainly of Lygia’s work. The workshop by designer Mariana Prestes and Eleone Prestes brought together professionals in the field and those interested in the international exhibition in Milan, who can benefit from the duo’s assistance for virtual and face-to-face monitoring.

Suzana Saldanha and Fernando Baril

While the actress Suzana Saldanha paraded through Imperadores do Samba, on the Porto Seco catwalk, on Sunday, March 5th, incarnating the legendary Eva Sopher, in homage to Theatro São Pedro, the painter Fernando Baril finished the portrait that synthesized actress life. Baril was inspired by Suzana’s long successful career, coming from Grupo Veneza to winning a Kikito, in Gramado, her travels and performances on stage and on television in Rio de Janeiro. Portrayed by Gilberto Perin, friends from the time of the play Love, Love, Love, by Luiz Arthur Nunes, Suzana received her painting at the painter’s house last weekend, in the Historic Center of Porto Alegre.

To get in the mood for St Patrick’s Day, an Irish party celebrated on March 17, Moishe’s Deli, a street food-style space dedicated to Jewish cuisine, prepared a warm up for this Thursday, to try the drink that will be served on the Day of San Patricio, on Friday. The limited edition of green Gin Tonic will be prepared on the 16th and 17th, in a 400ml version. Moishe’s Deli is located in Rio Branco and welcomes customers with little tables on the street, a charm.
