Spain coach Luis de la Fuente has already fallen in love with Barcelona striker Lamine Yamal, selected at just 16 years old.
Spain coach Luis de la Fuente said on Thursday he had a “overconfidencein his young striker Lamine Yamal, 16, without revealing whether he would be in the starting lineup against Georgia on Friday.
“Lamine seemed very good to me on TV, but working with him makes you realize his potential even more: he seems even better to me.“, declared Luis De la Fuente during a press conference before the qualifying match for Euro-2024.

De la Fuente wouldn’t say if Yamal would get playing time against Georgia on Friday, which would make him the youngest player to wear La Roja’s jersey.
