After celebrating its 10th anniversary, the event created by Renaud Capuçon and Dominique Bluzet is embarking on a new decade, with projects already full of projects.
It may not be the 14-0 of France-Gibraltar… But, with 29,500 spectators in 17 days, spread over some 32 concerts, the Aix-en-Provence Easter Festival broke a new record last spring: that of the best attendance ever recorded by the event in ten years of existence! Will the 2024 edition, which will be held from March 22 to April 7, allow it to go even further? In any case, this is the wish of its creators, Renaud Capuçon and Dominique Bluzet, as well as their founding partner: the CIC. “We could content ourselves with seeking to reproduce this annual communion, testifying to our ability to bring together the best of clical music in the Aix region. However, we want to go further,” they insist.
Further in excellence, with an eleventh edition which will take on the appearance of a real battle of the bosses. Christoph Eschenbach, Jean-Claude Casadesus, Tugan Sokhiev and Daniele Gatti, to name but a few…
