Motorsport enthusiasts rejoice! Around a hundred collector’s and racing cars will be present this Sunday in Dreux. While some will remain comfortably parked to be displayed and admired, others will cover the two kilometers of the Western Paris circuit at low or high speed depending on the driver and the car.
Fans will be able to climb on board in the co-pilot’s seat to experience the thrill of a race to the sound of the screeching tires singing at each hairpin bend. To carry out your baptism on the circuit you will have to pay 40 euros. If you are less adventurous, entry alone is 7 euros and free for children under 12 years old.
450,000 euros raised since 2000
The event brought together 1,800 spectators in 2022. The objective of the event is to support theLittle Princes ociation whose vocation is to make the dreams of seriously ill children come true. 19,000 euros were collected during Retrosport last year, a total of 450,000 euros donated since the first edition in 2000.
Every year, celebrity partners of this charity day are present. Perhaps you will come across “the teacher” aka the actor Gérard Klein known in this role that he played for many years on television. Or also Romain Monti, professional racing driver in the world of GT (grand touring) but also Nelson Jourdain, the presenter of “Treasures of Heist” broadcast on RMC Découverte. The weather conditions should be perfect for an excellent event, particularly thanks to the 300 volunteers who will be on site to welcome the spectators.
The public is expected all day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Sunday. You can now reserve your places by going to the website of Retrosports.
