A 10th Brazilian Retail Fair (FBV) broke attendance and business recordaccording to Sindilojas Porto Alegre, which runs the event that ended this Friday (26) in Porto Alegre, after three days of conferences, lectures and rounds of interaction between the public, specialists and companies.
The fair, at the Fiergs Events Center, totaled R$ 22.3 million in business, according to Segment Research. The result was more than double that of the last in-person edition, which took place in 2022, highlighted Sindilojas POA, in a note. The audience reached 9.6 thousand people.
“We are very satisfied with the results obtained and with the success of the new model that the FBV presented in 2023, through the strategic repositioning. We seek to focus on practical, accessible and high-impact solutions that can be adopted by entrepreneurs in micro, small and medium-sized businesses, which make up the vast majority of retail businesses”, says the president of Sindilojas Porto Alegre, Arcione Piva.
The satisfaction survey carried out during the event showed that 98% of people who were at the FBV considered the event important for the development of the sector and 97% said they would return in the next edition.
In 2024, the FBV will take place from May 22nd to 24th at the same location.
