Brindisi, a girl raped for 4 years by a relative of her boy. “It’s our secret, you mustn’t tell anyone”

TOASTS. For four years he allegedly raped a minor, her relative, taking advantage of her psychic and physical inferiority conditions and of the numerous nights in which the child slept at her paternal grandmother’s house. Her rapist allegedly took advantage of her when they were alone together in the house where he lived and her little girl attended at the weekend, but also in her car when he accompanied her to the home of other relatives.

Today that nightmare is over. The carabinieri of the Compagnia di Fasano, in the province of Brindisi, arrested him – at the disposal of the Juvenile Court – for multiple aggravated sexual assaults. The same measure was issued by the investigating judge of the Ordinary Court for the same crime committed as an adult, for a few months.

The first episode would have occurred when the arrested young man was 15 years old and the victim only 5. The violence would have lasted until last year, when the young woman turned 9 and her relative-torturer came of age.

It was the girl’s mother who filed the complaint with the carabinieri, after the latter had revealed everything to another relative. The minor was heard by the investigators, who collected a meticulous and detailed account of the abuses. The child would also have been threatened if she had revealed that secret, which in addition to shame had also fueled her fear of her. This is why the man would continue to abuse her, in the certainty that nothing would ever emerge.
