“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”: the series returns in an audio format

Attention fans of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”. Many times announced, the return of the cult series, broadcast from 1997 to 2003 on M 6, is confirmed but in an audio-only format. It will be possible to listen to it (in English) from October 12 on the platform Audible.

If you were team Spike (and not Angel), you will be even more delighted because the character of James Marsters will be at the heart of the plot. We will find alongside him other members of the original cast: Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia), Anthony Head (Rupert Giles) and Juliet Landau (Drusilla). Sarah Michelle Gellarfamous interpreter of the vampire slayer, will not be there.

The series was written by Christopher Golden and Amber Benson, who played the role of Tara, Willow’s girlfriend. This will also be in the casting.

“Horror and pion”

What is the pitch? The story picks up ten years after the series finale which saw Sunnydale, Buffy’s town, wiped off the map. Spike is now infiltrated in Los Angeles where he makes the authorities believe that his evil side has taken over. His cover will be disrupted by his meeting with a teenager, whom he will take under his wing. On the program of the episodes: “Horror, pion and mischief”, in the words of James Marsters, now 61 years old.

Spike “can’t wait for fans old and new to experience this beloved world of vampire hunting like never before, brought to life with immersive audio narration.”
