Chloé Trespeuch second in Sierra Nevada

Chloé Trespeuch took second place in the final of the World Cup stage in Sierra Nevada (Spain). The Frenchwoman gave up the first place to her rival, the Briton Charlotte Bankes. American Lindsey Jacobellis and Czech Eva Adamczykova were also qualified for this final. Trespeuch’s second place, however, allows him to retain the lead in the World Cup standings ahead of Bankes.
Bozzolo fourth
Among men, Loan Bozzolo collapsed in the final. Perfect until the last run, the Frenchman made a mistake by losing contact with the snow for too long and was never able to catch up. He finished fourth behind Spaniard Lucas Eguibar and Italians Omar Visintin and Lorenzo Sommariva. Bozzolo is third in the World Cup standings.
Merlin Surget, fifth overall, was qualified for the small final where he only took fourth place.
