See you in a year and a half. THE star musician and producer DJ Snake announced this Thursday that they are planning a concert at the legendary Stade de France in 2025.
In a cryptic-looking video posted on Instagram, the French star showed himself traveling through Paris aboard an RER, then heading towards the famous stadium, with interspersed images of his previous concerts in other French venues or other historic sites such as the Arc de Triomphe in 2018.
His concert, specifies another publication on Instagram, will be called “The Final Show”, or, in French, “the final show”. Tickets will be available for pre-sale on December 7, and on general sale on December 8.
The 37-year-old DJ, an unconditional PSG fan, became known in 2014 with his song “Turn Down for What”, which went gold and platinum in many countries around the world.
A DJ with many collaborations
Since then, he has distinguished himself in numerous successful collaborations with international artists, such as for the title “Lean On”, with Major Lazer, “Let Me Love You”, with Justin Bieber, “Taki Taki”, alongside Selena Gomez and Cardi B, or more recently, “Please Don’t Change”, featuring Jungkook, one of the superstars of the K-pop group BTS.
DJ Snake is a regular at big venues. The artist had already performed on the stages of the Olympia, the Defense Arena, the Accor Hotels Arena in Bercy, as well as the Parc des Princes, in 2022. In February 2023, he also participated at the Super Bowlin the United States, in front of hundreds of millions of viewers.
William Grigahcine, his real name, was also noted this year for having edited its own menu within the fast food chain McDonald’s. To promote it, he organized a private party last June in the McDonald’s on the Champs-Élysées in Paris.
