Djokovic recalls 'a decade of incredible moments and battles' with Federer

Novak Djokovic came out of his silence to pay tribute to Roger Federer, who announced Thursday his future retirement at 41. Via his Instagram account, the Serb wrote: “Roger, it's hard to see this day come and to put into words everything we've shared in this sport together. Over a decade of incredible moments and battles come to mind. Your career has set the tone for what it means to achieve excellence and dominate with integrity and poise. It's an honor to know you on and off the pitch, and for many years to come. I know this new chapter has incredible things in store for you with Mirka, the children, all your loved ones, and your fans still have a lot to look forward to.»
