The first round of voting to determine the 13th President who will rule Turkey for 5 years did not yield any results. In the election held on Sunday, the People’s Alliance candidate Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received 49.51 percent, the Nation Alliance candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu 44.88 percent, and the ATA Alliance candidate Sinan Ogan received 5.17 percent. With this result, he could not find enough 50+1 votes to be elected in three candidates.
ELECTION LIKE REFERENDUM
The second round of voting will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023. Erdoğan and Kılıçdaroğlu will compete in this round. The Nation Alliance will work on the idea of ”21 years later, we are very close to change, let’s crown the victory”.
The People’s Alliance, on the other hand, will make the propaganda of “We have achieved the majority in the Parliament, let’s crown this success with the Presidency”.
16 ministers serving in the current Erdogan Government were elected as MPs from the AKP.
WITH GOVERNMENT FACILITIES…
However, they will continue their duties as ministers during the two-week election period. As before May 14th, they will again ask for Erdogan’s votes with government means.
NEW OPPORTUNITIES
Until May 28, new promises and initiatives are expected from both Erdoğan and Kılıçdaroğlu. In particular, it is noted that Erdogan can make moves that can win the votes of the Kurdish voters. It is not known whether Sinan Ogan, who locked the first round with 5.17 percent of the vote, can direct the votes he received. Ogan, who is the candidate of the ATA Alliance, of which the Victory Party is the main body, made statements that he was at the same distance from both alliances.
Kılıçdaroğlu slammed his fist on the table: BU-RA-DA-YIM
Nation Alliance presidential candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu revealed his belief that he will win the second round of the election with a new video he published on social media. Kılıçdaroğlu, who gave an image that has not been witnessed before, called out to the voters with his fist on the table: “My dear people, we have been working nonstop since yesterday. Do not fall into despair. I will stand upright. I will tell you my clear observations of what is happening. Then we will stand up and take this election together. At the end of everything, it will only be what our nation says. I’m here, I’m here. You are here too. I swear I will fight until the end. I am here!”

‘Election is not won on the balcony’
The Presidential Candidate of the Nation Alliance, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, made a statement with the other leaders at the 6-table after Erdoğan’s balcony speech. Kılıçdaroğlu said, “Despite all his slander and insults, Erdoğan did not get the result he expected. No one should be tempted by a fait accompli. The election is not won on the balcony. We will definitely win the election in the second round,” he said. SINAN OĞAN ANNOUNCED THE SUPPORT CONDITION FOR THE SECOND TUR: Terrorism will be fought
refugees will be sent

Sinan Ogan
Presidential candidate of the ATA Alliance, Sinan Ogan, spoke to the British news agency Reuters and gave clear messages about the conditions under which they would support Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu in the presidential election, which went to the second round.
Ogan said: “It was launched as if we were going to enter into a bargain,” said Ogan, explaining what demands they will make: “Since the first day, we have taken a stand against parties such as HDP and HUDA PAR that do not distance themselves from terrorism. It was something we predicted that the elections would go to the second round anyway. We will have another tough 15 days ahead of us. In this process, we will do our best to have a good result for our nation and our country. We will consult with the political parties that make up the Ata Alliance, their representatives who voted for us, and those who signed, and we will finally make a decision. What we said was very clear, we have conditions such as sending asylum seekers, getting rid of the nonsense of interest, inflation and result, which is one of the causes of the economic crisis. Without these conditions, the second stage cannot be ped. Fighting terrorism, especially FETO, PKK and Hezbollah, is one of our priorities.”
