Estelle Nze Minko after France’s defeat against Montenegro: “We’re going to cry every night”

“There is bound to be a lot of disappointment. The 4th place, sorry for the term, but it’s the place of the con. Looking back, I’m proud because we reached the semi-finals (28-20 defeat on Friday against Norway, future winner), that was our goal. We wanted to do more, unfortunately it wasn’t today (sunday). I am proud to have experienced these emotions. I promise myself to give myself the means to live again and to do better than a fourth place. I tried to give the maximum to leave with this medal unfortunately it was not enough but it will be useful for the future. We were lucky in the last minute of regulation time, we came out of nowhere and managed to snatch extra time (22-22) with two minutes of power play. But we don’t manage to score the goals that would have allowed us to have some air. We ran after the score and five minutes goes by quickly. I think we were ready for this match, but we lacked everything. In defense we were not aggressive as we have been since the start of the competition, in attack we were unsuccessful in shooting, we wanted to run, we did it at times but not enough. »
