PSV Eindhoven continues its impressive series of victories in the Dutch championship after beating Feyenoord Rotterdam (1-2) on Sunday.
THE PSV Eindhoven won for the fourteenth time in a row this season in the Dutch championship by winning at Feyenoord Rotterdam (1-2), outgoing champion, on Sunday.
After this success acquired thanks to goals from Moroccan Ismaël Saibari and Frenchman Olivier Boscagli, the team led by Peter Bosz takes off in the Eredivisie standings: with the maximum points (42), PSV now has 10 points. ahead of his rival of the day and runner-up.
This success punctuates a perfect week for the Eindhoven club which qualified on Wednesday for the round of 16 of the Champions League thanks to a success in Spain against Sevilla FC (2-3).
This fourteenth victory in a row brings the current team closer to the record held by the team led by Guus Hiddink during the 1987-88 season. PSV then won the first seventeen matches of the competition.
To reach this total, PSV will have to win against their next three opponents, SC Heerenveen, AZ Alkmaar and Excelsior Rotterdam.
