Five people died in a Ukrainian missile strike on Skadovsk

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) launched a missile attack on Skadovsk, Kherson region, said the head of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

“Today at about 10 o’clock the enemy fired rockets at Skadovsk. One missile was shot down by air defense, another hit a private sector, several houses were damaged,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to preliminary data from the regional Ministry of Health, five people were killed as a result of the shelling, another 10 were hospitalized with injuries, T reports.

On November 8, a meeting of the UN Security Council convened by Moscow took place, at which Russia’s permanent representative to the organization, Vasily Nebenzya, stated that every strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on civilians only confirms the correctness of the decision to launch a special military operation. Nebenzya also drew attention to the fact that most of the attacks on, for example, ambulance teams are carried out by long-range, high-precision Western weapons.

Since November 7, Saldo has tightened the curfew in the Kherson region: it is now valid from 20:00 to 6:00, and not from 23:00 to 05:00. In early November, nine people were killed in Chaplinka after the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a social fund building. On October 18, Chairman of the Government of the Kherson Region Andrei Alekseenko reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out “simultaneous targeted strikes” on the central regional hospital in the city of Aleshek and a rural outpatient clinic in the village of Novaya Mayachka.
