After a freelance stint in Saudi Arabia ended last June, Luis Gustavo joined the Brazilian club São Paulo.
At 36 years old, Luis Gustavo found a new challenge. Highly appreciated by Marseille supporters during his visit to Canebière, he then tried the Saudi adventure, with the Al-Nr club.
On Monday, São Paulo announced that they had signed the Brazilian midfielder on a one-year contract. A decision which the former Bayern Munich man was delighted with: “An excellent challenge awaits us next season. My career has always been full of challenges and São Paulo offers me another one. I am happy and motivated to be part of this club project. I can’t wait to have my first contact with Morumbi fans.
