Free’s parent company performs well in recruiting subscribers in its three countries

In 2022, Iliad has probably got used to seeing triple. In the three countries where the group founded by Xavier Niel operates, the annual results published on Thursday attest to a very dynamic commercial performance. Free’s parent company is taking the opportunity to post what it describes as a “record” in terms of turnover and subscriber recruitment, while improving cash generation during the year.
In detail, the company led by Thomas Reynaud earned 8.4 billion euros in turnover in 2022, an increase of 10.3% compared to 2021. On the side of profits before tax but after payments rents, Iliad generated 3.3 billion euros of EBITDAaL last year. The group also increased the amount of cash generated over the year by 74%, to 1.16 billion, for a net profit of 758 million. The group has not been listed since October 2021.
