PORTRAIT – On leave from the Paris Opera for two years, the dancer revealed by the film “En Corps” multiplies her experiences. And wonders about his future. Encounter.
She arrives, in jeans and a white t-shirt, bare arms in the bitter autumn. Thirty two years. Still as fine, still as cute with her face Audrey Hepburn. A year since she left the Paris Opera ballet. Will she return to her place as first dancer? The heroine of the hit film In body by Cédric Klapisch admits to pushing back the question. She took two sabbatical years outside the Palais Garnier. She wanders, she learns, she improvises, she dances and makes films, without abandoning any of her rigor. Each time, she gives her all, summons her body and her mind, listens to what they want to do in response to the artistic requests she submits to them. “I love what I do, but it’s hard to imagine leaving opera. I’m not one of those people who are disgusted by the house.”
