Singer Alla Pugacheva and TV presenter Maxim Galkin (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) are in Latvia, Galkin said on Instagram (belongs to Meta, an extremist organization banned in the Russian Federation).
“What a sunny Sunday it is in Sigulda today!” – the TV presenter wrote, attaching a joint photo with his wife.
On November 2, the media reported that Pugacheva had arrived in Russia; she was spotted at the Leningradsky railway station in Moscow. After the escalation of the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas, Galkin said that he would not leave the Jewish state and would help the Israeli people.
Galkin was included in the register of foreign agents in September 2022. After the start of the special operation, he left Russia with Pugacheva and the children.
At the beginning of October, several concert venues in Astana and Almaty were closed for renovations before Galkin’s arrival in Kazakhstan. The comedian on his Instagram page asked if he could help the halls with renovations, since “he really wants to see the audience.”
In addition, the TV presenter announced the cancellation of his appearances in Astana and Almaty in August. According to him, the Kazakh authorities introduced a “virtually unspoken ban” on his performances in the country.
