Giro-Tour double for Pogacar?

The Slovenian would like to venture into the Tour of Italy. In 2024?

Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (2e of the last Tour de France behind Jonas Vingegaardas in 2022) at the heart of a full season (winner in particular of the Tour of Flanders, the Tour of Lombardy, the Flèche Wallonne and Paris-Nice) has, in an interview given to Bike Channel, once again underlined his want to compete in the Tour of Italy (May 4-26, 2024): “I would like to be at the start but it’s difficult to say if I can… The team will have to decide. I don’t have much control over my calendar… In the future, I will certainly come to the Giro but I can’t tell you when exactly. My goals ? The Tour de France (June 29-July 21) and the Worlds (September 29 in Switzerland) are definitely on my mind. But winter has just started and there is still a long way to go before the first races.»
