The monopoly lawsuit brought by the American State against Google ended more than two weeks ago . “I have no idea what I am going to do,” admits Judge Metah sheepishly, whose verdict is expected in May 2024. If the case closes in relative media silence, it is because all eyes are turned elsewhere. Google is in fact accused of abusing its monopoly on numerous markets adjacent to online search such as advertising or mobile applications. On this ground, the lawsuit against Epic Games is a symbol .

In economic cases, the judge counts the points. The goal of antitrust is to promote the positive effects of corporate activity, while limiting the harm of abusive market domination.
