Hanna Oeberg wins the Oslo mass start and Julia Simon the small specialty globe

For the last race of the World Cup season, Sweden’s Hanna Oeberg (19/20 shooting) won the 12.5 km mass start in Oslo on Sunday in the fog in 36’33″5. Norway’s Roeiseland (19/20) by 22″6 and Anais Chevalier-Bouchet (17/20) by 43″7 The Frenchwoman, who was competing in the last race of her career, was welcomed on the track by her husband and their little girl.
The big globe (general classification) was already won by Julia Simon, the only suspense remaining for the small globe of the mass start, finally also returned to the Frenchwoman, fifth at 56”6 and 16/20 in shooting, having missed two balls on each of the last two shots.
Lou Jeanmonnot (16/20), finally 18th at 1’49″6, seemed to be on the podium. But entering second position on the last shot, she missed four of the five balls there. Chevalier-Bouchet went out, she, in fourth position, but managed to overtake the German Kebinger, out more than two seconds before her.
