He hit the courier he was arguing with with his pickup truck – Sözcü

In Çekmeköy, the driver of the pickup truck collided with the motorcycle courier he was arguing with and fled.

The incident took place in Taşdelen District at around 04:30 last night.

Allegedly, the moto courier went after him to stop the driver of the pickup truck, who had hit and run, while returning to his workplace after delivering the order he had received.

The driver drove the pickup truck he was driving onto the moto courier who was following him. The driver fled the scene after hitting the courier.

The courier, who jumped over the motorcycle at the time of the impact, survived the accident without injury. The moments when the driver of the pickup truck drove away from the scene after hitting the motorcycle were reflected in the security camera of a workplace for seconds.

“HE MADE HIS LIFE, HE WOULD HAVE DIED IF HE DID NOT JUMP”

Erdem Bıçak, the operator of the workplace where the courier worked, explained the incident as follows:

* The courier friend starts arguing after being hit by a white-cased vehicle on his way back to Nişantepe. He starts a verbal argument. Then, while the Courier chases my courier friend as he hits my car engine and runs away, he deliberately runs away.

*As it can be seen in the images, he intends to kill himself and drives the engine on it. My engine is getting unusable.

*My courier friend does not have any bruises. The courier jumps over the engine. When the courier sees that he is on the vehicle, he leaves the vehicle and does not receive any injuries. If the courier hadn’t jumped over the engine, his life would have been taken.

*He would have died if he hadn’t jumped. I don’t know the person. The license plate is also unknown, the vehicle fled. I will file a criminal complaint with the prosecutor’s office. I will apply where necessary. (DHA)
