How to tackle the digital talent shortage


According to the Institut Montaigne, 10% of job offers are unfilled. The needs are enormous between now and 2030.

The situation is not yet critical, but it could become so. While digital transformation is on the agenda of all companies, the French training system is struggling to keep pace. This is the observation of the Institut Montaigne, which publishes this Tuesday a vast study on the needs in these professions.

According to its figures, 85,000 job offers on the “core” digital professions are today unfilledout of the 945,000 jobs recorded in this sector. “It’s even 700,000 unfilled offers at European level.
