The France team easily won against an overwhelmed Sweden at the end of the match.
There were nearly 20,000 spectators to see Guillaume Gille’s band mark the Swedes with a hot iron in Stockholm. The French, dominating from start to finish, won 31-26 against the locals.
The France team has always been in the lead and has never dropped the score. The Blues led by +4 at the break (16-12) and scared themselves in the middle of the second period. But at the end of the match, the Swedes broke down physically and the Habs took the opportunity to fly away.
The only black spot on the board for Guillaume Gille: Elohim Prandi’s injury at the very end of the match, which fell heavily on his right shoulder.
