in video, Vitinha’s huge scoring opportunity against the empty goal
During the first act between Bayern and PSG, Vitinha had the opportunity to open the scoring just before the break.
A huge opportunity. While the score was 0-0 between Bayern Munich and Paris SG, Vitinha had the opportunity to open the scoring and allow his team to come back up to the Germans. At the 39th minute of play, the Portuguese midfielder recovered the ball after an unnecessary risk from Yann Sommer, before striking against the empty goal… but De Ligt made a saving return. The Parisian thought he had scored, as can be seen in the images, before becoming aware of his failure.
During the first act, the Parisians tied the game with the Bavarians, despite being one goal behind following their defeat at the Parc des Princes in the round of 16 first leg. Apart from Vitinha, Messi came close to opening the scoring, as did Musiala. Also note the exit of Marquinhos, hit in the ribs.
