The Autonomous Department of Highways (Daer), linked to the Logistics and Transport Secretariat, informs that some intercity trips to the south of Rio Grande do Sul have been cancelled.
The changes occur due to interruptions in highway traffic caused by rain and seek to preserve the integrity of pengers.
Little by little, travel is resuming. With the release of traffic on BRS-116, the companies Expresso Embaixador, which connects Porto Alegre and Pelotas, and Planalto, which covers the stretch from Porto Alegre to Rio Grande, returned to operating normally.
Changes to the cancellation list may occur depending on the road situation. The lines should return to operation as soon as safe traffic conditions resume.
Routes with canceled trips
• Encruzilhada do Sul – Porto Alegre (Expresso SB)
All times this Wednesday (13) are suspended.
• Mariana Pimentel – Porto Alegre (ACV Autoviation)
Trip suspended from 5pm.
• Porto Alegre – Santana do Livramento (Gold and Silver)
Trip continued, but the itinerary was changed. The route is being taken through Bagé, as the BRS-290 highway is blocked at the Arroio Bossoroca bridge.
