On the occasion of the return of "Numbers and letters" in its new formula, the presenter praised the historic duo, dismissed in August.

The show was back in its new version this Saturday. It will no longer be broadcast on weekdays but only on weekends at 5 p.m. Blandine Maire and Stéphane Crosnier also replaced Arielle Boulin-Prat and Bertrand Renard, thanked by the management of France Télévisions under conditions which gave rise to a rather violent exchange of arms between the two parties.

Laurent Romejko had very complimentary words for the historic duo. “Arielle and Bertrand brought this small daily dose of knowledge, always without pretensionbegins the former weatherman. But also these calculation and spelling tricks that have allowed you to improve over the years.»

On a more personal note, the one who has hosted the program since 1992 adds: “They especially brought this collective good mood on the set, a mischief.” Laurent Romejko concludes with these words, perhaps intended to appease the spirits: “They have of course contributed to the success and exceptional longevity of this show. I have a lot of affection for them and I am not the only one.

“We did not agree and we regret it”: Alexandra Redde-Amiel, head of entertainment and games at France Télévisions, commented on the departures of Bertrand Renard and Arielle Boulin-Prat from the show. “What is modestly referred to as a “contractual disagreement” arose because France Télévisions demanded a reduction in our salary of around 60% and refused to grant us the CDI that we had the audacity to claim.», the duo had risen on his side.
