League of Nations: Romania relegated to League C, Georgia Sagnol undefeated

Despite its big victory against Bosnia and Herzegovina already guaranteed to go up to League A (4-1), Romania could not avoid going down to League C on Monday. The Romanians, who made the difference thanks to goals from Dennis Man, Andrei Ratiu and a brace from George Puscas, had to hope at the same time for a poor performance from the Finns, but they won in Montenegro (2-0 ). Helped by the early dismissal of Zarko Tomasevic, Finland made the difference through Oliver Antman and Benjamin Kallman.

Near-perfect Georgia

While its rise in League B was already acquired, the Georgia of Willy Sagnol ended its journey in group 4 of League C with a victory in Gibraltar (2-1). The inevitable Khvicha Kvaratskhelia opened the scoring from the penalty spot, before Georgiy Tsitaishvili broke. With 16 points taken from a possible 18, the Georgians made a strong impression.
