Hüda-Par, which is expected to join the People’s Alliance, decided to support Erdoğan in the Presidential election. During the week, a final proposal will be made from the AKP at the level of Deputy Chairman. In Batman or Diyarbakır, where Hüda-Par is strong, it will be suggested that a person be nominated as a parliamentary candidate from the AKP. While Hüda-Par was criticized as a “political extension of Hezbollah”, its Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu also said, “Hezbollah is not a terrorist organization in my opinion”. The suggestions against “Turkishness” in the party’s program published in 2021 caused reactions.

Some of the proposals of the party, which received a total of 157 thousand votes in the 2018 elections, are as follows: “Kurdish should be accepted as the second official language, and Kurdish should be the language of education. Articles like ‘How Happy is Anyone Who Says I’m a Turk’ should be deleted, and racist rhetoric such as ‘A Turk is worth the world’ should be stopped. The discriminatory discourse based on Turkishness, which dominates the constitution and all official literature of the system, should be abandoned. The persecution of Kurdish scholars such as Said-i Nursi, Sheikh Said and Seyyid Rıza should be officially acknowledged and an apology should be made.”
