Ligue 2: Bordeaux and Sochaux win

The battle for second place is fierce, since Bordelais, Sochaliens and Messins won this Saturday.

Long hooked by Nîmes, Bordeaux finally found the fault (1-0) and retain second place. Josh Maja, with his toes, liberated Stade Matmut Atlantique (81st) and scored his 12th goal of the season in the league.

Maja could even have doubled the bet a few minutes later but a double parry from Maraval prevented it.

The Crocos remain 19th, five points behind Rodez (31 pts), new non-relegation first and winner in Amiens (3-1).

Rodez thus leaves the 17th place in Laval, fallen against the red lantern Niort (3-2) and which connects a fourth defeat in a row. Still in the red zone, Dijon was beaten by Pau (1-0).

Sochaux, third, ended a series of two draws by winning at the end of the game against Grenoble (1-0) thanks to a goal from Aldo Kalulu after a quickly played free kick.

Behind, Metz (4th, 48 pts) keeps pace thanks to its victory at Quevilly (2-1). Bastia (5th) won on the ground of Paris FC (1-0).
