Liverpool celebrated Roberto Firmino for his last at Anfield

The news was announced on the club’s social networks earlier in the week: Roberto Firmino will no longer play for Liverpool next season. The Brazilian will long remember his last game in the Reds adventure, which began in 2015. First, because he scored at the very end of the game, allowing his teammates toget the point of a draw against Aston Villa (1-1).

But also because his club had prepared an ovation for him after the match. One last time, to the applause of his supporters, “Bobby” crossed the red corridor of Anfield. On its Twitter account, the club also announced that a documentary on the rise of its number 9 would soon see the light of day.

His teammates Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who will also leave the adventure, were also celebrated by the Reds public.
