Marseille with Ajax and Brighton, Toulouse with Liverpool, Rennes with Villarreal

Former Irish player John O'Shea draws Olympique de Marseille for the group stage of the Europa League.

Olympique de Marseille inherited a difficult draw for the group stage of the Europa League on Friday September 1: the Marseillais will have to face Ajax Amsterdam, the English of Brighton and the Greeks of AEK Athens.

Stade Rennais will have to get rid of the Spaniards of Villarreal (winners of the trophy in 2021), the Israelis of Maccabi Haifa (who played in the Champions League last season) and the Greeks of Panathinaikos (fallers of OM this summer then eliminated in the Champions League play-off).

Toulouse FC will challenge the English from Liverpool, the Austrians from Linz ASK and the Belgians from Union Saint-Gilloise, a club from Brussels.
