Mikaela Shiffrin wins the Are slalom and takes a record 87th victory
It (almost) never stops. After having won the giant on Friday to tie the record Of Ingemar Stenmark’s 86 World Cup successes, Mikaela Shiffrin was again the fastest on Saturday in the slalom contested in the Swedish resort. The American therefore seizes the record for victories alone (87) with her 13th success of the winter, also guaranteed to pocket the big globe and the two small giant and slalom globes.
