That information is of concern to us because they relate to the nexus of organized crime, smuggling etc. He said that the External Affairs Minister said that because it has an impact on our own national security, it was decided to investigate the matter and an inquiry committee was constituted.

Brigadier Shri DS Tripathi ji (Retd) said that apart from this, recently a top National Security Advisor to US President Joe Biden had come to New Delhi for talks on various bilateral matters including allegations related to the attempt to inate a Sikh separatist leader. He said that in this regard, the White House has informed that Principal Deputy National Security Advisor John Finer met with India’s Deputy National Security Advisor Vikram Misri to review the progress made in the ambitious US-India Initiative on Critical and Emerging Technologies (ICET).
