The OpinionWay study also reveals that 53% of consumers plan to make these purchases on the internet, i.e. 10 points more than in 2022.

Enough to expose the company to cyberattacks when security rules are not applied. However, it is well known that in the frenzy of online sales and promotions, even the most experienced cybersecurity user can be trapped by cybercriminals. Especially since, aware of the state of feverishness of consumers, cybercriminals are very active during this period. So at this time of year, the number of fake websites, phishing emails, fake social media promotions or malware attacks is on the rise.
