Richard Minguet, a restorer from Pau (Pyrenees-Atlantiques), has just made an unprecedented offer to the person who will find the cuddly toy of his 4-year-old daughter, who was lost a week ago during a walk in the city center of the Béarn capital: a year of burgers free !
“Zoé never left her cuddly toy, named Doudou! She spent hours and hours with him. She even prepared a place for him with his seat belt in the car. In fact, Doudou accompanies him permanently since his birth. The fact that he is no longer there is a tragedy for her, ”says Richard, a little distraught.
“I really hope that someone will eventually come across him”
The stuffed white teddy disappeared between Place d’Espagne and Pau station, on a route of about 2 km. Richard and his companion thoroughly inspected the area, but without success. “We are so used to seeing our daughter with him that we never imagined that he could fall somewhere, and even less without us realizing it. »
So, to try to find him, Richard did not hesitate to use drastic measures. He made a call on the Facebook page “Living in Pau” telling the whole story. His post was taken up more than a thousand times and the phone calls started to rain down in his restaurant “We have received several calls but unfortunately still no trace of Doudou. I really hope that someone will eventually come across him so that I can announce the good news to Zoe, ”says the dad hopefully.
One thing is certain, the person who finds the comforter will be rewarded with a homemade sandwich from Papa’s Burgers per week for a year. The restaurant has made a name for itself in Pau for its 100% locally sourced products, including the Bique Mac with goat cheese and the Jean-Claude Dusse, raclette hamburger. “I can also adapt if the person who finds Doudou is a vegetarian”, concludes the restaurateur with humor.
