After victories in the Tour of Italy (Roglic) and the Tour de France (Vingegaard), the Dutch team this Sunday victoriously completed the Tour of Spain with Kuss.

After successes in the Giro (with the Slovenian Primoz Roglic) and the Tour de France (thanks to the Dane Jonas Vingegaard), the Dutch team Jumbo-Visma has, this Sunday in Madrid, the finish line of the 21e and last of the Vuelta, writes a page of history with the success of the American Sepp Kuss (in front of his teammates Vingegaard and Roglic…). A podium for an unprecedented hat-trick.

For the first time, a team wins all three grand tours in the same year. The famous Molteni, Renault-Gitane, Banesto or Sky had never achieved this.

Sepp Kuss (14e of the Giro and 12e of the Tour being, moreover the only rider to have participated this year in the three grand tours with the Spanish veteran Luis Leon Sanchez, 39 years old, of the Astana team) won the reward for his dedication and became the second American to win on the Vuelta, ten years after Chris Horner.

To accompany the event, Kuss, Vingegaard and Roglic wore shorts adorned with pink, yellow and red at the start of the 21st stage heading towards Madrid.
