Why India’s role becomes so important

The time of tension between western countries is not good for India in any way. After the tension between Russia and Ukraine, India is also treading on the whole situation. It has the power to make or break the equation of crisis. India’s situation is sensitive. If India takes any step, its own interests can also be affected. If it criticizes Russia, India will alienate an old, time-tested friend. In such a situation, Russia will move closer to China. If India openly supports Russia, then relations with America will be affected. If India does not say anything, it can anger both Russia and America.
