PO leader: tomorrow is a march of strength and hope, not helpless anger – there is nothing to curse

Tomorrow is a march of strength and hope, not helpless anger. So there’s nothing to curse. The strong do not have to, stressed the leader of PO, former Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Saturday. PSL president Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz pointed out that the dispute is the essence of democracy, but it must be conducted without aggression.

Tusk and Kosiniak-Kamysz published entries on Twitter on Saturday, after a recording with vulgar statements by actor Andrzej Seweryn, who is to take part in a Sunday march organized by PO, appeared on the web. Many politicians made references to the recording on the Internet, including PiS spokesman Rafał Bochenek, who essed that Seweryn’s statement is scandalous and “illustrates what connects those who create the political and media environment of the total opposition.”

“Tomorrow is a march of strength and hope, not helpless anger. So there’s nothing to curse. The strong do not have to,” Tusk wrote in a later post.

PSL leader Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz also tweeted an entry in which he emphasized that “a dispute is the essence of democracy, but it must be conducted without aggression.” “The rulers have divided the national community and our task is to rebuild it, not to perpetuate this division. We cannot allow the Polish-Polish war to become commonplace. We will all lose out on it,” added the president of the PSL.

In the recording that appeared on the web, Seweryn says: “Dear child, remember, your task is to crush them. You’re young, you don’t understand what I’m talking to you yet, but you’ll soon understand when you’re in your teens or even sooner. You’ll understand now who needs to be slapped and don’t care about anything. All these Trumps, Kaczyńskis, ing Orbans… need to be slapped. No Christian dialogues, no, you know, understanding, debate, agreement. No, f…a. Fascists need to be slapped, not discussed. Because they will use this dialogue to just you up (…)”.

Seweryn published a statement on the recording on his Facebook profile on Saturday. “Due to the appearance of a private recording with my participation on the Internet, I declare that neither I nor the person to whom it was sent have made it available to social media. It got there at the will of those who have access to our private accounts and who, I believe, have already used this option many times, “he wrote. (PAP)
