Poll: 54 percent against mandatory masks in public places, 32.1 percent – behind

54 percent respondents are against introducing the obligation to wear masks in public places, 32.1% are in favor and 13.9%. has no opinion on this matter – according to a SW Research survey for rp.pl.

The study, the results of which were published on Sunday, asked the question: Due to the increase in the number of coronavirus infections detected in tests in Poland, in your opinion, the obligation to wear masks in public places should be restored.

32.1% answered “Yes”. respondents. The answer was “no” by 54 percent. subjects. 13.9 percent respondents have no opinion on this issue.

The discussion of the survey results on the rp.pl website also indicates that almost three out of four respondents aged 25 to 34 (72%) are against restoring the obligation to wear masks in public places. Almost six out of ten people (57%) with an income between PLN 3,001 and PLN 4,000 net and a similar percentage (56%) of respondents with higher education have the same opinion.

Respondents from cities with a population of 20,000 to 99,000 are most likely to oppose restoring the obligation to wear masks in public places. inhabitants (60%).

The study was conducted on December 5 and 6. The analysis covered a group of 800 Internet users over 18 years of age. The sample was selected in a random quota manner. The structure of the sample was adjusted using analytical weight to correspond to the structure of Poles over 18 years of age in terms of key characteristics related to the subject of the study.
